As humanity, we are immersed in an age of technological progress—becoming giants of technology, yet often remaining dwarfs in wisdom, leaving little space for the mysterious, the unknown, the ethereal. This creates a gap in the flow of life and, at times, unnecessary suffering. Fortunately, our history and world heritage have left us treasures—timeless knowledge and wisdom—waiting to be rediscovered. This page is dedicated to that old knowledge.

Definition of Wisdom — Wisdom, also known as sapience, is the ability to apply knowledge, experience, and good judgment to navigate life’s complexities. It is often associated with insight, discernment, and ethics in decision-making. (Note: in Latin, “human” is homo sapiens 😊).

This knowledge is indeed inherited, yet often hidden from plain sight. As external pressures and stresses rise, we may find that our only choice is to look inward. Our subconscious, reflections, and insights are always available—we just need to know where to look and to pay attention.

Once upon a time, in search for a solution I stumbled upon the writings of Carl Jung, the Swiss psychiatrist. I was fascinated and intrigued by his work, but also found it vast, complex, and intimidating. Wanting to learn more, I asked someone well-versed in his teachings where I should begin. The answer was surprisingly simple, rather childlike: look into the fairy tales.

Fairy tales are dreamscapes of symbols, archetypes, weaving the mystical through imagination. They speak in the language of the soul, carrying deep known truths.  The following blog and articles are a small glimpse of insight, a doorway cracked open to long-lost treasures. I hope you, too, will rediscover something valuable for yourself, a memory, a fragment of wisdom that belongs to you.
